A Confraria Gastronómica do Bacalhau nasceu em Ílhavo em 1999 e por isso já conta com 19 anos, e consequentemente, 19 Capítulos, a tradicional refeição anual de grande partilha entre os apaixonados das várias confrarias e dos sabores tradicionais do país.

Mais de centena e meia deles reuniram-se no Museu Marítimo, para assistir à entronização de 4 confrades de honra e 1 efectivo e depois rumaram ao Hotel de Ílhavo onde aconteceu o repasto. Pelo meio, uma visita, em jeito de homenagem, ao Aquário dos Bacalhaus… Foi tipo, para abrir o apetite.

Ao longo dos vários momentos, o Bacalhau foi omnipresente. Pataniscas, punheta, cara, bola, pasteis, bolos de bacalhau, até bolinhos em formato do gadus morhua (espalmado) apareceram… 🙂

Como vêem, a lista do repasto foi muito interessante. Ficámos deliciados com tudo, embora como da região, os sabores já eram por demais conhecidos.

Para o podcast, o nosso convidado foi João da Madalena, o grão mestre da confraria e fomos perguntar também a uma confreira de Valongo o que ela tinha achado. Tudo pelo Bacalhau, o nosso fiel amigo!
