Uma grande festa e no fim… venceram os Douros e Portos…

Na semana passada a região bairradina, e mais propriamente o Bussaco Palace Hotel, recebeu a fina flor domundo vínico nacional para o Jantar e Gala de entrega de Prémios dos Concurso de Vinhos da ViniPortugal. Os principais troféus atribuidos neste país são julgados em duas tranches, uma em Santarém, para a globalidade dos vinhos, e outra na Bairrada, para a atribuição dos grandes prémios. Não vou falar de medalhas pois estão detalhadas neste link.

A Gala contou com muitas presenças ilustres e grande parte dos enólogos reconhecidos. Foi muito divertida e nós estivemos lá (e as nossas fotos estiveram em especial destaque…) O grande vencedor foi o Douro, e especificamente o Quinta do Portal Grande Reserva 2011, esse ano mágico!

Os 7 grandes prémios do Concurso Vinhos de Portugal, que distinguem os melhores entre os 333 vinhos premiados, foram distribuídos pelas regiões do Douro, Vinho Verde e Bairrada. O vinho Quinta do Portal Reserva tinto (2011), da região do Douro, foi considerado o “Melhor Vinho do Ano”. A região do Douro distinguiu-se com mais 4 grandes premiações com os vinhos: Vallegre DOC Reserva 2014, o “Melhor Branco”, Messias 1967, o “Melhor Licoroso” e o KOPKE 40 Anos TAWNY, o “Melhor Licoroso de Lote”. Da região da Bairrada, o Messias Clássico Garrafeira 2010 foi considerado o “Melhor Tinto Varietal” e o Hibernus Grande Cuvée 2011, o “Melhor Espumante do ano”. O vinho Quinta de Linhares Azal 2015, da região dos Vinhos Verdes, foi considerado “Melhor Branco Varietal”.
