José Carvalheira marca os seus 20 anos com Vigesimum

E quando um homem chega às 23 colheitas, surge… o vinho comemorativo das suas 20 vindimas!

Para José Carvalheira, a decisão de honrar as suas 20 vindimas com um vinho de homenagem, marcante, estava tomado. E também o tipo. Sair fora da sua zona de conforto, daquilo que ele gosta de fazer e ensinar: o espumante. Por isso, nunca poderia ser um vinho espumante. E com um histórico de geração e prémios, a ideia de fazer um vinho tinto ganhou força… Aquilo que José Carvalheira não estava a contar era com a vindima, difícil, de 2014. Quase que teve que arranjar um guarda-chuva para cada videira…

Mas no final, o esforço compensou e o seu trabalho de enólogo tem um produto que o honra para apresentar. Vigesimum, nome latino para a vigésima colheita que fez, esperou até 2017 para sair da adega e dar corpo ao vinho. Um vinho que, segundo o seu autor, irá dar mais daqui a uns anos mas que demonstra claramente o seu potencial desde já.
