O decorrer do ano de 2018 vai ser especial para Anselmo Mendes. Abriu a empresa em nome próprio há 20 anos mas já tinha começado nas vindimas há 30. Anselmo Mendes nasceu e cresceu em Monção. Foi aí que desde criança se familiarizou com a cultura da vinha e a produção do vinho. A casta Alvarinho e o seu vinho, ali produzidos entraram desde logo na sua vida, de tal maneira que hoje Anselmo Mendes e Alvarinho se confundem. Licenciou-se em Engenharia Agro-Industrial em 1987, pelo Instituto Superior da Universidade Técnica de Lisboa, e pós-graduou-se em Enologia pela Universidade Católica seis anos depois.

Neste podcast pode saber quais os vinhos dele que levava para uma ilha deserta (3 alvarinhos bem diferentes, claro) e o que está a congeminar para as comemorações do duplo aniversário. Uma entrevista a não perder.
