O evento realiza-se na sexta-feira, dia 01 de Junho no Teatro Aveirense, em Aveiro, a cidade dos canais.

Os homenageados são: o diplomata António Almeida Ribeiro, nas relações internacionais – que ajudou e muito na ligação à Santa Sé e à garrafa que foi entregue ao Papa Francisco; a neurocirurgiã Cláudia Faria, na investigação e ciência; o ex-futebolista João Tomás, no desporto; o actor, produtor e também sushiman Pedro Anjos (mais conhecido como Kinjolas por muitos), na cultura; e o chefe Tiago Bonito, da Casa da Calçada, na gastronomia. Vão assim juntar-se aos ‘Embaixadores Bairrada 2017’: Dino Alves, Maria Rueff, Ricardo Costa, Sandro Alves e Sérgio Conceição.

A cerimónia também vai servir para a entrega dos prémios  do “XXXVIII Concurso Os Melhores Vinhos Bairrada” da Confraria dos Enófilos da Bairrada.
